N64 on cab?

Does anyone play N64 on their cab? Do you use a controller hooked up to the USB port or your controls? How does it handle? What are your comp. specs?
Thanks
Derek
JesterDEV:
I normally dont play console games on my cab (Exept nes games) unless my wife's younger brother and sisters come over. But I do have a few n64 games. Mario 64 plays quite well with my arcade controls. Took a bit of work to get the buttons setup right, and it still is a bit "funky" bit it works. It really depends on your button layout.
However if your serious about playing N64 games on your cab I would suggest buying a usb (if they exist) connector for a N64 controller.
My system specs:
Althon XP 2200
512 Megs of DDR
Ati 7800 (?)
40 gig / 80 gig drives
XP Pro
Cocktail Specs:
Athlon XP 2000
512 Megs DDR
Geforce 3 Ti
120 Gig Drive
XP Pro
Runs at full speed on both machines. Atleast as far as I know. :)
Lilwolf:
The lack of a good analog joystick sucks for many n64 games.
Zelda would be the one I wanted... but the controls are just too different... I could never get it to work.
I have an analog flight stick... but that sucks... I was considering using a super joystick on it, but figured it wasn't worth it yet... maybe if I find another cheap analog stick...
But I don't know if you can hack the original analog stick to any arcade sticks.
Also, n64 emulation is pretty good.... the computer will probably be one of the cheaper parts of your project... So I would go with a computer, and a n64 emulator.

I agree with lilwolf, go with a pc with a n64 emulator. You can buy adapters that allow n64 controllers to be attached to a pc via USB. Checkout the store on www.mameworld.net
RetroBorg:
I bought one of them Boom N64 PSX USB adapters.
I bought 10 of these so I got the 51.16% discount, I kept 4 and sold 6 to friends.
You can get them at Liksang
