flipper buttons without springs?

It has an e-clip on bottom. Pop that off and the plunger will come out. Just remove the spring and reassemble.

my leafs dont have e-clips. havent seen a leaf with an e-clip before.

I'm only familiar with the old school type that had the clips.  What do these use to keep the plunger from flying out of the bezel?  Is a photo or at least a description of the mechanism possible?

If it looks like squished plastic or a glued on part, then they are most likely sealed so the spring couldn't be removed without ruining them.
