Peoples' kids and wives are going to be using these tokens too. --- End quote --- I'm with Chad on both points. I love the design (I loved this design http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=6164.0 if anyone remembers it) but it may limit the potential market. Something almost exactly the same but with Lara Croft style shorts might be in order? |

--- Quote from: missioncontrol on August 25, 2008, 12:05:20 pm ---wow Chad, do you not let your kids watch TV, read magazines, and blindfold them so they can't see billboards while you go out for a drive? --- End quote --- There is a difference, as a parent, between preventing exposure and actively supplying such things. They see them outside and that's life. This does not mean their father should be handing the same level of materials to them in the home. It is not about restriction. |

I wholeheartedly agree. Love the token design, and it would be fine if just for me. But my 6 year old is at least as much of an arcade addict as I am, and he has entered the phase of being fascinated by women (especially when scantily clad), kissing, etc. I'm certainly not going to do anything to prod that along in him at such an early age! |

I really like the Lara Croft shorts idea. May also help add to the tool belt concept. The swimsuit was feeling a bit out of place in the arcade anyway. That'd be a nice solution. Santoro.... is it worth putting something together like that or has time run out? I also sympathize on the wife and kids comment. I was trying to keep the design no sexier than Dragon's Lair or Space Ace while maintaining a sort of "calendar" feel (without which it felt strange to have a girl on the token ::) ) So I agree putting some shorts on her would certainly help and I don't think it would necessarily detract from the... uhhh... playfulness of it. That said, my six year old daughter picked up the sketch I was making for the front and her eyes popped out and she gasped: Whooooooooah. Is that me? Is that Wonder Woman?? WOW Daddy. Who IS that? Of course I should have said it's mommy. |

OK so I'll take the cleavage out too. :timebomb: |
