Another vote for #4. Great design.
I like the idea in #1 of having the picture a kind of watermark behind the writing but I'm not sure if it'd work too well on a token.
Love the design of the player too, the kind that really gets into the game they're playing moving their body as much as the joysticks.

That matrix lettering idea that turnarcades suggested sounds pretty good too.

The Matrix idea is way too played out...

The style Sez first made me think of the Time Out tokens.

The main reason Mr. C's token was such a big hit was the vintage aspect of it and had the mechanical feel of the token pushers found in 80's arcades. If we are playing the games of our past, we need to keep a dated feel to the coins. Perhaps a more 80's feel this time. Using the Matrix idea gives it too much a late 90's/early 2000's feel...
