And we thought AOL was bad....

My BIL went through this last month with the same company.  His tin-can sounding connection was always getting dropped, even after "tweaks", to the point that he decided to increase his cel phone plan to unlimited minutes (since he was always resorting to using his cel phone after his "home" phone dropped his call anyway ::) ).

After factoring in the cost of the taxes and service, jumping up to unlimited minutes turned out to be a dollar or so cheaper than what he was spending for x minutes and Vonage for the house.

Now that it's a week later, are you finally rid of them?

HaRuMaN:
Just curious, why are you cancelling Vonage?  We have them and haven't had a problem yet.  Sound quality is good w/ no connection issues.

DrewKaree:
RTS, have you considered what David Foley would do in this situation? ;D

I have Vonage at my office and have experienced only one service issue in the last couple of years.  Unfortunately, it's been happening lately....   When dialing long distance, often the call never goes through.  Local calls are fine but any long distance call takes a few attempts to get connected.
