2player vs 4player

I originally went with a 4player control panel. I am now thinking of switching to a 2player control panel. I mean, what game requires a 7 button player 4? I bought it at the time because i thought of having people over and playing with a few people at once. I realized later that it's just wasted space. Has anyone found a use for a 4player controller that I have over looked?

btw, here is my control panel.

If multi-player gaming is still your thing, think about revising the layout for players 3 and 4, at most they only need 4 really. I think many american cabs are way too big anyway; even the two player ones. You could easily revise the design to make that panel smaller for general 2-player use, and still retain 4-player functionality when needed by cutting down the number of buttons.

Yes, I even considered that, but I would rather have my control panle uner 5 feet wide :)
