41 ? That's old !
Level42:
David: "No he's dead."
Jennifer: "He's dead ?"
David: "Yeah"
Jennifer: "He wasn't very old."
David: "Well he was pretty old. He was 41."
Jennifer: "O yeah ? O that's old."
from War Games.
Just watched it and this struck me. I bet I agreed with them back in 1983 :)
Damn time flies.......
abzman2000:
when I first saw that movie many years ago, I loved it. I didn't question it, so at that point I was like; hmm, is 41 really that old? I guess it is...
all except that part where he's playing galaga with 3 ships left, dies, and it goes straight to game over.
Level42:
Yeah, I actually thought the movie still is pretty good today. I'd thought it to be cheesier with 2008 eyes. It's also a great document of how technology changed in just 25 years time. Almost every scene made me think: we'd do that so and so now. Calling information to get a phone number ? Hah, we got internet for that ! :) Etc. etc.
Still the message of the movie is even stronger today: Don't let computers decide over our lives. :D

Just saw a poster for war games at the local theater, looks like they will do a special 25 Anniversary and they will show it.
Trailer also said that it included special preview of sequel...
