I just picked one of these up: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00924031000P And it works perfectly! I just plugged the computer into it, and plugged my power strip into the accessory spot and it works like a charm. I can't recommend it enough - much cheaper than a Bits Limited switch. |

yeah, i love those things. i picked one up for my first cabinet a year or so ago and it works like a charm. if i end up finishing my other two cabinets, i'll definitely be using them again. |

I have these in two cabs now, and works great as an alternative to the Smart Strip. |

Yea... it use to be that there were only a few options.... (i.e. Smart Strip) I think that with the renewed interest [in the US] in being "Green", we're going to see more of these around. I saw one made by <I think that it was APC> on sale for $25 at a local office supply store. It had 4 switched outlets that turned on via power being drawn from the master outlet. I recently picked up a "smart strip" made by Phillips.... $24 at Walmart. |

Does that one have (or need?) an sensitivity adjustment pot on it? I have a smartstrip and found that I needed to adjust the little pot on it to get it working just right. |
