DK wiring problems
« on: June 29, 2008, 05:15:18 pm »
Wow there's alot of Donkey Kong restorations going on.

Perhaps you guys could help me. I'm a little confused... :dunno

I hooked up the DK board I've had for awhile and I'm not getting a picture. Just #'s lining the screen.
I have the 2pc board type, and thought I had everything all hooked up right. I didn't hook anything to the edge connector as I didn't see any reason. The CP is connected to the main connector (P5), power in to P9 and so on.
Is the edge connector just an alternative to some of the other connections?

Any info or even pics of your wiring would be greatly appreciated!

I've done some more searching and apparently I have a bad rom.

I found a cool DK troubleshoot site...

Just in case anyone falls into the same problem.
