The dumb ass needs to embrace it, because his whole fanbase is built from that movie. I sure know I wouldn't watch any of his movies if it weren't for Better Off Dead.

Women our age still get naked 90 seconds after the ending credits of Say Anything.  That movie was constantly on the rotation in high school for that reason.

Never heard of that.

I liked Runaway Jury. Major come-back for Cusack. America's Sweethearts was good, too.

Ghostbusters was a certain kind of movie. Something not done before and a result of the era. That's why the second one was lame to those who were young when the first one came out (but loved by the new youngens - sorta like duper rangers, yeelckh). There's certainly no reason to do a third one.

What about Lost Boys...the only decent movie the Corie's ever made...and now, unfortunately, there is a sequel out.
All time cheese movie would be Flight of the Navigator...seriously...an alien ship that talks like Pee Wee Herman?!?! :lame:

License to Drive was good, as was Blown Away (for different reasons) ;)

Though I might  have missed it (and I did look), no one seems to have mentioned St. Elmo's Fire and Looker.

Also, there was the truly disturbing Re-Animator movie, in which Barbara Crampton is strapped fully nude to a gurney, and molested by a severed head. I still can't believe I sat through that.

Kelly Maroney is the ultimate B-movie scream queen - loved her in Night of the Comet.

I'll second the Last Unicorn...incredible stuff, I love that movie.

Heavy Metal is still a kick for my wife and I.

Severed head, huh? I was watching far more riske' stuff than that by then, so that sounds kinda comical. Actually (a little before this time) what kinda disturbed me at the time was this movie I saw on The Movie Chaneel, Forbidden World (not Forbidden Planet) where there was this little goey entity they made in a lab on some planet that grew...well, you know the deal. Anyways, at one point it interfaced with the computer system, and one of the cast (the hot broad of course) comes in with this weird idea of communication and, '...can we co-exist?' So a tentacle slithers down then up her dress....and pops out her shoulder?! What the ---fudgesicle---?
