One other question. How is it moving this cab? The support of only 6 screws on each side doesn't make me think this would be very sturdy when moving it; especially if the monitor is in the top! |

Well I used 8 screws on each side plus L breackets on the inside. You also have panels on the top and part of the rear of the upper section for horizontal support. I don't plan on moving it much with the monitor in there. For little moves it just rolls around on it's casters. You can always add another cross piece on the inside for more horizontal support if you like. As far as adjustments go, Cyber has made some new plans to accomodate the Slikstik. I had already completed the base so he sent me a few additional cuts that I could make (squaring off the base) that worked out well. I would just let him know that you need this for your setup. I'd send them to you but they are copyrighted. |

hey :) Very nice work...REALLY reminding of something :D. anyhey got a simple question. How did you do the miter cuts? VERY nicely done..good work. |

Thanks Snaaake. I have to tell you I was pretty nervous about taking on this project. Like I said I'm a real novice when it comes to wood working. But I figured I could always go buy another piece of MDF. I did the miter cuts wtih my new table saw (anniversery/ early father's day present) ;D I guess I must of missed something though. Not sure what you meant by reminding of something? |
