2 seperate buttons to same I-pac input?

Another probably simple question....
I want to wire up two buttons to one input on the I-Pac... basically I've got one coin door switch and an additional coin button on the panel (for the lazy people) :)
Any reason why this wouldn't work (and yes, I know some games require seperate coin 1 and coin 2 triggers... I'll just set those games to register both coin chutes in the configs).

Works perfectly with I-Pac. I have 3 rotating control panels all hooked up at the same time - so I have as much as 3/4 buttons hooked into the same port in the I-Pac at one time and works fine.

What games require seperate coin 1/2? I am almost finished with the my first MAME cabinet and I have only put one coin button.
