Games001:
What programs did you use to create such a great intro movie?
I hate not having an ounce of skill with such things.
HairyDVD:
I used a program called "Memories on TV" which is a slideshow dvd creator program (just output to video file rather than dvd).
I grabbed a load of comic screen shots from the Marvel website, pasted them into a paint program and trimmed them. Then I imported them into M.o.TV and imported some music. Set up for each slide to display for 0.1 seconds each and have a page flip transition between slides. Set the background to the red colour and had the slides fade out toward the end to show the red. Text overlay effects were added and the Wolverine screen slashes were created by nabbing the "slashes" off the new Wolverine poster and tracing them in black. It was then dropped at the end of the slideshow with a transition of rotate pan and zoom to give the effect of zooming into the black slash area.
It costs an absolute fortune for some of the video editing software suites, and just goes to show that with a little bit of imagination and steering in the right direction with a solid theme - you can get good results for very little outlay or artistic talent.

I am very glad how this is progressing. Planning is nearly finished which means that the wood cutting will be commencing as soon as my artwork is fully finished which will be at the end of this week and sent back to me from Scott!
Thanks so far to everyone who has helped in all ways on this!
Martijn:
How are your measurement of the bezel doing? :)
Did you send the artwork to scott?

The artwork is currently being tweaked. There is some small stuff to do on it before I get it printed but it isn't far away.
As for the bezel I am having a small problem with the measurements (see attached pic).
I need to get the measurements right for this part. As you can see the inside bezel section will sit inside the side section. Effectively the side will go up at 20 degrees and the monitor will sit at 30 degrees.
This means that with my calculations the speaker section will sit at 45 degrees meaning the sound will directly “face” the player. The other section is the bit that sits below the marquee.
In this case the angles are key as well as the 682.8mm height (or 683mm to make it easier. The speaker section does not really need to be 130mm but it should be the minimum if possible to accommodate 4” speakers.
Could anyone draw this up in Autocad and give me the correct dimensions?
Hopefully when this is fully completed I can get some help drawing this up (or doing a render) in Sketch up to see how the cabinet looks as I have no clue when it comes to using it!!!
Also, Franco has very kindly helped with creating the dimensions for the cab. They are also attached. Thanks again Franco!!!
