Would you pay 225.00 for a dead defender?

I want one really bad to do a multi williams project, but its dead, guy says cab is 8 out of 10.
Being the cheap sob that I am, I think price is high for a dead machine.
What do you guys think.
Hoopz:
It'd depend on why it's "dead".  Bad power supply?  Monitor work or not?  If it does work, what about burn in?  I think it would require more info on what dead means.
RetroJames:
If the cab and associated artwork is in good / great shape .. and the rest of the machine is present, even if not working, I think that is not a terrible price for a Defender.

It powers up fine and gives the familiar Williams bzaaaawwn sound. The boards LED's blink twice which means they test out ok. There is no picture and it doesn't play blind. I replaced fuses and that's all
Zeppo:
I'd buy it.
Monitor probably needs repair, and check the wiring to the controls.
Does it make any sounds if you press the test buttons on the inside?
