He is a great guy to deal with, and has always been very good about answering questions, filling orders, etc... when I've dealt with him.

Seconded! I've been using the (old version) AKI for my pedals for the last 4 or 5 years. Finally got round to using my other AKI for my SW yoke a few months ago...both working extremely well :)

With any of these analog interfaces...AKI, gpwiz49?, U_HID, etc...does the Star Wars control yoke need modification like it does with the dualstrike hack (i.e. resistor pot replacement)?
Paul Olson:
AKI and U-HID can handle arcade (5k) pots just fine. Ultimarc's other analog interfaces can as well. The gpwiz49 is not an analog board, it is for 49-way joysticks, so that wouldn't work.
Ummon:
I think the Dual Strike has pots in it, hence the inputs one solders to are essentially the same as any other analog unit.
Havok:
You actually remove the dual strike's pots - the ones in the yoke will interface directly. That's why the dual strike is so desirable. It's as plug and play as you can get with a hack.
