Yes, I play in automatic transmission mode. Because I never play such Arcade games in manual mode, I've choose to set up the gear transmission controller with the UP & DOWN signals for the XBOX, in order to navigate in the menu if I have too (Out Run2 doesn't need it... I do it just for the demo   :P )

In the Daytona gear transmission, there are 3 switches, like this :

2

My choice is :

1 - Up for the XBOX controller

2 - Down for the XBOX controller

3 - Nothing


but it's of course possible to set

1 - ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- up

2 - ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- down


BUT

...the Daytona gears box doesn't really have a real central position between position 1 and 2, so ... it won't be natural to use it like this  :)
