Sunset Riders
Combatribes (prepare to be disappointed!)

I always thought it would be kind of fun to play a beat-em-up that featured fully realized fighting game characters.  Like Ryu and Ken fighting their way through a Double Dragon environment (only not actually Double Dragon of course, but something specially configured for it).  Is there anything even close to this?  It seems like a real natural for the 1992-4 period.

Look for the homebrew Beats of Rage games. There are MANY versions people have made to suit just about every taste.

Dungeon magic is a pretty good beat em' up.  You gain levels as you go along and alot of stuff in the environment is usable/destructible
