Looks good. I think your control panel could use some brightening up. Maybe incorporate a brick pattern into the background. I did a mario bros themed marquee for someone once. Let me see if I can find it.

I know you don't have a marquee, but perhaps this can serve as some inspiration. As for the 12 inch LCD. I have quite a few of those. It does a decent job of displaying. You may have to force resolution of some of your games. The LCD's I use only handle 640x480 or 800x600.

For the side thats all messed up - I would probably cut a new side to match.

Took about an hour and came up with a new, more exciting, control panel based on leapinlew's suggestion:


That is definitely far more lively! I'll probably give the same treatment to the sideart.

As for that side: I'm going to see if the wood filler works and holds up, as I don't really have the tools here to recut a new side. I think I should be fine once I apply the vinyl and t-molding.

A couple suggestions.

1. The size of the crab on the wall in relation to Mario, the size of the pipe and to the crab underneath
2. The sun threw me off. It took a minute to figure out what it was.

lookin good. I'm anxious to see how it all turns out.
