Damn, that wiring would put most stereo installers to shame!

Too bad you can't just flip it over and expose the internals. They're almost artistic.

I thought I posted this already but I guess I didn't.

Anyways I wanted a clean way to plug in the cab and to turn all components on with one button. I used a bits smart power strip and cut off the end and have it coming through a standard box which then connects to the switch which is connected to a male power adapter. All parts were taken from a dead computer power supply.

That is an awesome job you are doing.  The wiring is awesome!  Your trackball looks like it sits really high.  Is that the way that model sits?

The track ball is a little high and I will eventually lower it and bevel and polish the plexi edge.

It's an electric ice trackball and it doesn't naturally sit that high. The reason mine does is because I routed out material to sit the unit in and I removed the top half of the enclosure.
