Lets talk about this... How do you get your pictures to come out so nice? Anytime I use macro mode, it's blurry or dark. Your finger prints are so clear in those pics that I could probably look you up in the criminal database (where I'm sure you have an entry). ;)

So, about the Griffin Powermate. One common issue is the thing likes to disconnect from the computer, or not be identified on bootup. Unplugging the USB and plugging it back up seems to resolve the issue. I'm suspicious that it might have something to do with the USB extender cable, but I haven't confirmed it. Did they ever fix this issue?
It's looking great. It's cool you have a hard dead line, cause one way or another - we'll get to see this thing completed. :)

First of all, that was a long time ago! Sheesh
Let's talk :)
I use a Sony DSC-S85 4mp camera that is several years old. This is what I do, hold the camera with both hands and rest at least one of them on something secure. It will give you a shot comparable to using a tripod. Sometimes I hold the shutter button down and if it doesn't seem to focus correctly I move the camera back and forth until it looks right and then take the picture.

I don't know if there is a fix for it or not. I have heard that it is hit or miss. I plan on putting a switch on the back to disconnect the data bus wires just in case this ever becomes an issue.

I want a feature on this board to be able to ignore threads started by certain users..... so I don't have to look at their projects and get all depressed at how bad mine suck in comparison.
Beautiful job again Mountain. I can't wait to see how this one finishes out.
