Nvts:
Would you be able to document any of the wiring?  I have a touch screen and a system, now looking for some speakers before I finish off my plans.  Between this one and javeryh's version (Mine also would be a one piece) I think I can get the box built, but I'm not sure of all the electrical work that would all have to be done, and you were in speed building mode during that time.

Kaytrim:
The wireing should be rather straight foward.  The touch screen uses a VGA cable and a USB cable. Extend the power button to an arcade button.  Plug everything into a smart strip and everything will turn on and off with the computer.  Connect your volume control to the speakers and you should be good to go.  This is a much simpler setup then an arcade machine.

I don't know Kaytrim...  The wiring is the part that scares me the most about this project too.  I'm not sure there is room for a SmartStrip inside but even if there was, I still have no idea how to wire up the red and white audio outs (for connecting to a home theater) and the switch.  Putting some USB and ethernet ports on the back to add music and connect to the internet might be tough too.  I'm also a little scared to hack a power supply and wire everything to one plug if the SmartStrip doesn't fit.  I will be asking a lot of questions when I get to this part...   hopefully it's easier than it seems in my head.  :cheers:

DaOld Man:
You really dont have to use a power strip, just tie the wires together and solder, or use wire nuts, or a terminal strip. You could use a small relay like the one I used on Stevies Jukebox, to switch monitor and speakers on.
As far as audio outs and USB ports, Im sure you can get those already wired, just plug and go.
I dont like the idea of hacking the power supply either, simply because when the power supply fails it might be a pain to put in a new one.
On Stevies jukebox, I exhausted the fan output of the power supply through a cutout in the back of the cab. Then I used a low profile 90 degree 120 volt cord to plug into the power supply outside the cab.
But Ive got a different idea for my next juke.

@javeryh

 Contrary to what everyone is saying you should not be afraid of electricity unless it is going to keep you away entirely. if you are afraid and work with it anyway you stand a much better chance of breaking something or yourself. you just need to have a healthy respect for it. confidence when not overly so will stop you from making mistakes because fear clouds the mind. once you have done the job you will realize it is not as hard as you thought and the next one will be cake. just don't get to over confident when you have done some of this work. as that makes one careless and brings on accidents too. and of course ask all the questions you have to as the only stupid question will be not the one you were afraid to ask but the one you did not ask and the answer would have saved you trouble or problems. :D  but seriously I learn more than I ever could by reading the questions you guys have asked and answered as many times I might not have ever thought to even ask until it was to late of course.

oh and the same applies to how to hook things up once your head is in it I bet it will be a breeze. you have to have one decent head about you to be doing as well as you are even with mountain doing it first as I know there are tons of people that could not do what you have done thus far even if mountain was holding their hand with each step. It looks absolutely excellent
