Hi Mountain, That bartop jukebox is extremely impressive!  I love it!   :notworthy:  Like others have said it looks commercial, like you had ordered it from a company that has been making them for years and really knows what their doing!  :D  I'm going to be working on a similar project with a touchscreen, and I may barrow some of your idea's.  I really like the shape and the bezzled black acrylic face.  For mine, It's going to be for games but as a side feature I'd like it to be a jukebox as well.  I checked out Xlobby and it looks like a great program.  Is this the skin that your using? http://xlobby.help.googlepages.com/skins the 2nd one down, bong2?

I actually have both skins loaded and switched between them in the beginning to see what the difference was. They look identical with a few exceptions. Bong2 writes the Artist - Album name directly over the album art. I found this to be very annoying. Bong1 does not label the album art. Also, when you search, it immediately displays the alphabet, not really a key board. Once you select a letter it goes to the first artist with that letter. If you hit advanced search, it lets you search by artist, genre, etc. Bong1 defaults to the advanced search screen. Those are the only two differences I could see.

I would put them both in your skins directory and switch between them until you decide what you like.

Good luck!

Mountian,

Thanks to your juke I got the go ahead to build one for my wife.  8)  I just have to finish a few things around the house first.  :(  I want her to get involved with the design process so she is happy with the final result.  I may want to pick your brain from time to time to work my way around the nuances of the software.

Cool! I can't wait to see what you come up with.

The setup is pretty simple. The only part I still have to figure out is the net radio, I just haven't had the time. PM me when you are ready.

Alright mountain... I'm going to give it a go.  I have what is probably the dumbest question ever - the first of many - and I'm hoping you (or someone else) can help.

After cutting the front and back panels (with all the holes), the spacers and bottom panel how did you line everything up to screw it together?  It is critical that the front and back panels are exactly opposite each other and I just can't tell if I'm being precise.  Any tips?
