Drilled Holes in Artwork - With or Without Wood and Lexan
(1/1)
RoninEditor:
My CP art should be here tomorrow so I had a question about drilling the holes in the artwork.  I assumed I'd sandwich it between my Lexan and wood, then drill.  But does this cause any tearing on the edges?  Or do most people drill the glass and wood, then use an Exacto knife or something on the art?
HaRuMaN:
Drill the glass and wood, then use ab X-acto knife on the art.  Drilling the art would be bad...
waveryder:
Drilling directly into your artwork  :o For the love of god somebody stop him!!!!!

Once youve applied your artwork cutting the holes out with an exacto/surgical knife is the best bet. I have heard that mamemarquees CP artwork survives drilling no problem but personally the cost and time involved in replacing the artwork if you rip into it isnt worth the risk. My £0.02

WHEW!!!  Thanks guys, holy sh-t I almost was going to do that!!

I'm getting mine through Mamemarquees but still, I don't wanna risk it.
