My new Mame Machine (resurrecting dead games) {update w/ photos}
MBliker:
Sorry no additional pics but I thought I update anyway.
I finished the monitor shelf, keyboard tray (I cut out the cover for the keyboard tray but that still needs to be hinged. and I hinged the cabinet behind the control panel. I have also cut out the front cabinet door; but I still have to cut out the spot for the coin door and also drill holes for the subwoofer.
I have used wood filler for all the screw and joint holes and hopefully should be painting by this weekend.

Another quick update.
I routed out the side of the cabinet so I can place the T-molding
I also painted the control panel and upper cabinet area.
I think that I should have it all painted and put together so it can run by the beginning of next week.
Things I have left to do.
-Mount front cabinet door that covers the keyboard
-Mount front cabinet door (cut area for coin door)
-Put on back access door
-Buy Plexiglass and paint for bezel
-Finish artwork for machine.
Lutus:
Artwork makes a good machine into a GREAT machine!

not all cabinets that use x-arcade look like they used one, for instance the project mame arcade used an x-arcade. http://www.koenigs.dk/mame/eng/
Edit: nvm i just now re read it to notice he did away with the x-arcade.

Ok, here is an update with new pics. All doors and drawers are on and painted, coindoor inserted and I have cut the bezel out of lexan and need to apply the paint. It's getting close to being ready for the artwork.
