Joymonkey I have to ask how do you have finding a 3 button setup for playing most vertical games... Is it sufficent or would 2 or 4 buttons seem better. I am very curious about this and any feedback that you could share would be sensational. Cheers.

Mate on another note that cocktail cab looks sensational... I second HeadRusch.

The drill-hole around the joystick is really rough, maybe it's not so apparent in the photo. I need to figure out how to  get a piece of lexan cut with the appropriate holes for the buttons/stick to get it covered up.

The three button setup works perfectly. There are only a handful of vertical games that can't be played with this setup, but they're the ones with very obscure control schemes like SpyHunter.

Two buttons would be just as good; my fire3 buttons haven't had much use, but I thought it better to be safe and squeeze on as many buttons as possible while still keeping it simple. Four buttons might be overkill.

I use the small pushbutton for the KeyWiz Shazam key (similar to I-Pac's shift key) and it works out very well.

I know it's off topic - just like all the oohing and ahhing we're doing over the control panel pic...

Don't take this the wrong way,but... is that an arcade depot cocktail cabinet kit, or did you DIY? Looks sharp regardless, just wondering.

Yep, its an ArcadeDepot kit. I got a couple of them last week and they turned out amazing. I think the one pictured is oak with cherry stain.

I've DIY'd a couple of cocktail cabinets in the past, but they never turned out as good as the ArcadeDepot ones, and usually cost around the same.
