Just kidding, that is correct though jeffsgames, please remove the link.  But you can link to your own project thread.....   (there is no nudge nudge smilie so I had to write it out instead)

This is interesting....so then Jeff's 96-1 isn't an add-on to a existing legal board? Add-ons are not infringement under the law because you legally have the original board. At least that is my understanding.

Not correct at all..... It would be legal if the add on didn't contain illegal code. But it's a 96 in 1 board that actually does contain modified original code and that in itself is an infringement of copyright. Not to mention that it also contains the rom code from several other games as well as the modified (and original) Pac-Man code.  If the board was made as a blank that you could load your own rom code onto then the board would not be illegal. As it stands it is.

The rules about links to multi game boards on here are also very clear. It's really all about protecting this forum so that it doesn't get shut down by an Irate Namco, who are well known for being extremely litigious, in protecting their Pac-Man property because they still make money off it. So much so, that anybody who owns and uses one of these should be extremely careful about publicly admitting that they do.
