Good luck on 256+. Get the wallet ready for it  :P

Yeah, I know. I have 4 sticks of 128 that I got off ebay for a pretty good price, actually. And while it's pretty decent for the 1.5ghz P4 I have, I wanted to see if I could boost it.

They have to be matched, but I'm not sure if you need the place cards. How much you have will depend what OS you can use. Initially, I got a couple 64mb sticks, and for XP it dragged. Especially for SP2, I'd say minimum 512mb. Win98 would do just fine with 128, maybe even just 64.

I'll offer my 4 (128) = 512MB RDRAM along with the Intel D850GB Motherboard w/1.9Ghz CPU for $175 or B/O plus s/h.
I have the MOBO book, CD's etc....

for the ?? above, yes you need the BLANK DUMMY on your empty RAM Slots. I still have them too (all 4).
jhabers:
for the price of the memory you might as well get a barebones kit like this

Thenasty:
I know you can get barebone kits for less than 200, but if you are looking for some RDRAM, I basically throw in the CPU and MOBO for free.
Right now, I think a 128MB RDRAM are $50.00 ea.

Cheapest I found (quick google) and this are 600/700 mine are 800.

some others are asking 60+.
Red:
Are there any places where you can just buy the blank dummies to fill up the slots?  And can you run (2) 128 sticks and (2) 256 sticks or must they all be the same size ram chips?  Thanks.
