| NOS Star Wars Yoke Overlay? Anyone? |

I NEED a NOS Star Wars yoke overlay! I've checked out all of the possible (two) SW yoke overlays available and I'm not impressed. Looks like I'll have to run off a batch of my own version. Now, what I don't have is a NOS Star Wars overlay to work from, nor do I have the original films.. so, I'm kind of up the creek for now. Does anyone here have a NOS overlay that I can borrow long enough to scan in, redraw, color match and compare to? I'd need it for maybe 4 weeks....5 weeks tops. I'd be willing to return the NOS overlay along with a 3 or 4 repro overlays for your help. BTW, this overlay project will in no way effect the SW yoke project as I'm not providing artwork with the yoke anyway. Though, I'd like the option of having the artwork available ASAP for anyone who wants it....done right. :-) Thanks in advance. David Adams RAM Controls |

I don't have a NOS Star Wars, but I do have a NOS Empire Strikes Back yoke overlay if you are interested. |

Hey guys, As an update to this thread, I've checked out two more possible choices of pre-made yoke overlays and they too are not what I'm looking for. Additionally, I checked out the yoke-final.eps file available at AAL and it seems to me that this is the file that everyone has been using to make their yoke artwork. Some quick comparisons revealed some striking similarities between the finished product and the AAL artwork. I'm sure it's better than nothing, but what I'm after here is a spot-on reproduction of the original artwork. If you know me, then you know why I'm being so picky about it. :-) 2600, thanks -- I'll take you up on this. I might as well work on the ESB now while I have a NOS part to work from. THANK YOU!! Also, thanks for the help everyone. I'm still looking for a NOS piece of SW yoke artwork to work from. David Adams RAM Controls |

Another question and most important does anyone know how many art revesions were made on the SW yoke? and what the differences may be between them example my yoke is VEO300 040382-07 REV.B |
| Daviea:
Hey, I decided to go look at all of my SW machines and compare the rev numbers. One of mine indicates "040382-07 Rev.B" It does NOT include the "VEO300" at the beginning of the part number. BTW, I know this is an OEM sticker because this is the machine I purchased directly from Atari many, many years ago. I don't know what significance this might be, but it was an interesting observation nonetheless. Anyone else have any input on this? All it takes is a few seconds to go look at your SW yoke, write down the rev number (on the top-side of the yoke) and reporting back anything interesting. Thanks David Adams RAM Controls |
