| Marquee light issues |

| TelcoLou:
I made a temporary marquee and noticed a couple of irritating issues: Light is seeping out from the sides of the acrylic panels, and the edge of the wood inside is casting a shadow. I was thinking of using a strip or two of electrical tape to cover the edge of the acrylic which should hide things; or maybe cutting thin strips of black plastic. Has anyone else had this problem? (Or maybe it's just the thin printer paper I used?) |

I'm not expert in this, but here's an idea.... On the sides of the marquee, what if you ran a black marker down the sides. I'm betting your marquee display covers the back, but perhaps not the sides and that's where the light is seeping from? That makes sense? |

Normally, I design and have my marquee printed up approximately 1/4 - 1/2" wider than I need. The extra amount folds back over the plexi on each side and blocks any light that may try to seep out. |
