If you run that many, make sure you plan for labeled wall plates. You're not going to want to have to guess later on which jack is going to which hardware downstairs.

Definitely the best advice you can get if you are doing the wiring yourself.
Plan...Plan...Plan.
i found this website very helpful when I did my wiring: http://www.swhowto.com/

Also consider a tankless water heater if you have gas.

Just checking but this is the one that heats it immediately right? Im thinking of getting this for my current place of residence after some research.
Chad if he gets a drawbridge then he might as well get a moat. maybe even a zip line into the backyard from the second floor.

Yes. It is more of a direct heat exchanger than the traditional "pot of water on the stove" water heater.
They are costly up front though. $600-$800, depending on the size. Add accessories, and it will run about $1000. Think of it this way though, you will only have it in operation minutes a day. A traditional water heater maintains 50 gallons at temperature 24/7.

Great if you have gas, not great if you only have electrical. If you only have electrical you can put smaller units inline with specific areas (such as master bath's shower), but last time I looked they didn't have a good whole-house unit that ran on electricity.

My house has a larger gallon tank that is heated using gas i believe. I was considering this coupled with a solar panel setup would be nice. The thing with solar panels is how long do they last, how much power do they generate, will your power company pay you for the power you generate, do you have any obstructions like trees around your house, etc.
I would say cover your bases with wiring like everyone mentioned. if you have an attic make sure floor boards are installed. My attic doesnt have any so its not fun going up there.
