Wii Classic Controller on PC?
(1/3) > >>

I thought this was something that someone would have quickly made happen but I haven't seen anything really. Does anyone know if its possible to use the classic controller from the Wii on the pc some how, preferably some kind of usb adapter? I currently use the wireless 360 controller but the dpad isn't the best in the world and thought maybe the classic controller would be better even though I would probably lose wireless.

I use the logitech precision controller. While it's not exactly a Nintendo D-pad since only Nintendo has the rights to the original four way d-pad, this controller does a pretty good job of copying it. It's not perfect but comes pretty damn close. So I use this gamepad for my emulator gameplay. You can also get a Logitech Dual Shock with the two analog controls. Works pretty well also. But there are like three versions of it. Just make sure you get the one that has a d-pad similar to the one below otherwise the d-pad control will be horrible.

I use the PS2 dual shock on my PC for emulation needs...  I love it.

Thanks for the quick replies, the logitech I might look at but I'll have to spend a bit so I'll probably stick with the wireless 360 controllers(have them and classic controllers already). I don't mind the ps2 controllers and have a few here but the gf hates them for some reason so they are out.

I still just can't believe that no one has made some kind of adapter for the classic controller to connect it to a pc. It seems perfect to me besides being wired.

I've got a couple of these as well and have recommended them to others that are just starting out with emulation.  They are a really great option for the PC and as I recall can be had at Target for $10.
