Does that count? --- End quote --- Sure. I dont remember if they used the same stats and what not but the mechanics should be the same. If you still have heroquest it goes for quite a bit on ebay so take care of it. --- End quote --- I know unfortunately. I had one that I bought myself when i was a kid. It was difficult to get enough people to play to make it worthwhile. Also, I had to commit to being Zargon, which means I can't ever play the hero characters again. Anyways, I sold my game in mint condition at a rummage sale for like $10 when I was 18 or so. The original board game isn't near as valuable as the add-on packs. Having said that, if you liked Hero-quest then play the Buffy the Vampire Slayer board game. It is really fun, and has the same basic gameplay. --- End quote --- Unfortunately i never got the game as a kid. I wanted it definitely but being a kid in a toy store i was overwelmed with choices and well i never thought about it until i visited boardgamegeeks. but then i got doom the board game and i think it is close enough for the price. Does anyone know if he was still actively writing or did he retire and then die? |

I'm looking forward to the 4th edition books this summer. |

I still have Heroquest and all the miniatures, but I painted them all in high school to use in D&D. Didn't do a bad job, IMO. |
