| Yoke paint type? |

I had a look around and the only clear coat I could find was high-gloss stuff which was no good really. However I took a chance and bought some Plasti-Kote 'BBQ' black spray paint as it seemed to be a matt finish. This seems to have worked really well on it's own. It is matt, but does have a slight 'satin' like finish, which seems more so as more coats are applied. I found 3 coats of this are really required to get a nice even finish. I will post some pics when I have put the yoke back together... |

Isn't there something inbetween gloss and matt overthere ? Here you can get "semi-gloss", which is a nice paint between those two. Else, you could ask David from RAM controls. He should know everything about those yokes and the painting/powder coating. |
