I think it would be a great idea, and extremely helpful to folks who are getting started in the whole cab building world. I wouldn't worry about the "charging for plans" thing. As was said earlier as long as you're using orignial designs those that are charging for the same service will just have to deal with it or start offering their plans for what they were originally distributed for (free).
I say keep up the great work and good luck with the rest of your build.

Definitely a worthwhile project. I don't know how in depth you were looking to go with this, but I'd at least show an inside shot of the case or two. It's looking great. Hopefully you decide to continue!
