Question about car insurance claims

Awesome.  That is EXACTLY the information I was looking for*

I haven't talked to the adjuster yet, but the lady I talked to on the phone put me on hold for a minute to check and she came back and said it was characterized as a comprehensive rather than collision claim.  So it looks like I dodged a bullet there.  I didn't know how that worked, but I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future.

* Take that, Chad.   :cheers:

Picked up my car Friday evening.  Finally, after eight months our car looked good as new and didn't have a white-trash bungee cord holding the front bumper on!

Of course, today a lady ran a stop sign and broadsided my wife, so that was short lived, LOL.    :applaud:

No injuries, so I can laugh about it.  But c'mon.  What kind of bad luck is that?  At least it was her fault and she's insured.  And, of course, Maddy had already been dropped at daycare and my wife wasn't injured at all.  Could have been much worse.

Wow, talk about bad timing.  A few years back my uncle had just bought a new truck and on his way home from the dealer after buying it, he got broadsided from someone running a red light.  His take on the situation was "At least I got the first scratch out of the way"   :)

I keep telling my wife that she should start getting headaches, cos we could really use a $20k insurance settlement right now.  She just rolls her eyes at me.   ;D

Dartful Dodger:
What did it cost to fix?
