You're mostly right, but you can still have a "one remote setup" with a PS3, you just need the right remote. The Wii also uses bluetooth and can work with the 890, though I've yet to figure out why you'd want your Wii controlled by another remote... not like it can do anything worthwhile without the Wiimote.

Are you sure? I don't think it does bluetooth. It's RF, but AFAIK it's some proprietary Logitech signal and not bluetooth.
:edit: Looks like you can control the PS3 by buying an IR-USB adapter like the one that comes with the Nyko Blu-Wave remote.

So what does that mean for already produced games? Will MS have compatibility for them, or will they need to come out with entirely new game discs of the same games?
We can only hope that Toshiba considers the public, and quickly pulls out, instead of mulling it over when we all know what the outcome will be. They just have no support at all.
Dude...what the hell? I got home 20 minutes ago, and there was no snow or anything falling, ground was clear...windy, but no snow. Just heard a knock at the door, and I go to the window...I can't see a damn thing outside!! Looks like 1/4" out there.
Freaky...

yup you're right. I just took a look at the thread I had read and you do need an adapter. I thought I had read it did it natively.

Xbox 360 games will NEVER be released on BluRay. A BluRay drive might be incorporated into future skews, and of course it's possible that another external drive will be released. But these would be for movies only. There are like 16 million Xbox 360s sold so far. No publisher anywhere, ever, would even consider splitting their market by releasing a game on a disc that only some (a minority, at that) Xbox 360s could read. It will NEVER happen. Ever. Future Xboxes might be able to play BluRay movies, but ALL Xbox 360 games, from now until the end of time, will be released on DVD9 discs (or be downloadable from XBLA, of course).

I guess that makes sense in a way, but I think it goes a bit too far to say "NEVER".
The PS2 had 100 million units sold. They didn't care about the initial 16million after a while. For instance, there were online games for the PS2 that only worked with the slim PS2. Or I had to buy a network adapter for my older PS2.
If in the future the installed base of Xbox 360s with Blu-Ray becomes big enough they might start bringing out games that work only on that. Maybe even bundle two disks in a box.
Not sure why they would need Blu-Ray for now, but to say that that's NEVER going to happen is like claiming that 640KB is enough for everyone.
