Yeah, I wanted mine to take both (haven't bought any yet), but Happs does not have any that fit my dimensions. :-( I will post my dimensions at a later date when I am ready to plunk down $300. :o |

There may be some useful info in this thread (I haven't read it in a while ... I just decided that all my machines would take Canadian quarters and that was that): http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=22251.0 |

This may be a dumb question, but. . . How do you change the little graphic in the reject button, where it typically says 25c, 50c, TOKEN, etc.? Is there some little insert you can put in for that? Or do you have to buy different buttons? (I guessing the former just because I've never seen the buttons for sale by themselves, anywhere.) |

They are sold here and have the different inserts for sale as well: Shorten Those Links! Hope this helped. ~ DeLuSioNaL |

"Those aren't the inserts you're looking for" Seriously though, they're not. Those inserts at GGG are for the credit button that they sell. If you pull apart a coin door you could measure the insert and create a new one with some transparency film (office supply store) and a printer. If you want to use a coin door without a mech You could rig up a switch to get hit by the passing coin, but it wouldn't allow you to be picky about what coins people use in the machine. A used mech is the easiest way to go. The BST section of the forum has several people selling them usually. You can probably find a door while you're looking too. The coin doors that people clean-up as part of their project are usually better than new looking when they are done so it's worth the time it may take to make an old one look new again. The moral of the story is, buy a used door with used mechs and wire it up to your encoder just like any other button, you'll save money and have a functional way of inserting credits when gaming. |
