Monitor Bezel

I was looking at the 27" monitor bezel at happs but that is the only thing I will be ordering. Think I remember someone saying that happs charged $40 bucks just for shipping with an order like this.
Before looking into what the bezels were made of, I was just gonna use plywood but this is obviously not right? How would you mount the monitor? I have a d9200 and it has 3 holes at top and bottom on frame around screen and seems you would have to screw it into wood. Plastic and cardboard wouldnt be strong enough to hold the monitor in place would it?
I'm just confused exactly how to mount my d9200 and the whole bezel idea.
For you people that have made your own, what did you use and how did you install it etc?

The bezel itself does not hold the monitor in place. Depending on the application it is just going to sit on top of it, ot be held down with a few screws.
Exactly how you mount your monitor depends on your cabinet and the angle at which you are going to mount it.
Straight up and down (or almost straight) is easiest., just make a sturdy shelf that goes from one side of the cabinet to the other, and then have the monitor sit on the shelf. Actually that is basically how I do it for any angle, but if it is tilted back more than a few degrees you will need four mounting bolts to secure the bottom of the frame to the shelf. You can also make a second "shelf" with a big hole in it to use those mounting holes that are in the front of the monitor as well.
REAL cabinets use all sorts of mounting schemes, shelves (Defender), metal brackets (Pac-Man), wooden board flush with the face of the monitor (Kangaroo), bolts through the side of the cabinet (Nintendo games), tube without frame mounted on wood (some mini cabinets). The shelf is the easiest way for doing it yourself though.
As for the bezel. Try calling all your local distributors and seeing if they have any in stock. They will want more than Happs, but at least you won't be paying crazy shipping.

That's the point I'm at. I want to use a d9200 and a happ 27" monitor bezel. Let me know how you make out. If you have the dimensions on the bezel, that would help me in planning.

I still havn't yet started building my cab because the guy that is helping me build it hasn't had much free time yet. It may be a while before I decide what to do for a bezel but I will post back when I do.
Anyone have a d9200 that used a happ 27" bezel? How well did it work? Dimensions?

as for dimention...did you look around?
go to wells garnder's side for dimention of the d9200.
