Got the first one, Woo Hoo!!!!

do you have a map of the terminal block connections for the wireless 360 controller?

Didn't I label the terminals for you?

ROFL... no problem.  :)  Just a note, the triggers (LT and RT) have their own ground, right next to them, marked with a "g".

Your other controller will be there tomorrow, I mailed it this morning.

Awsome!

I have a quick question can I trim the PCB a tiny bit as long as I don't cut off any connections?

So now that the wireless 360 pcb's have common ground does that mean that you can just take 1 wire from the pcb and daisey chain it to all of the buttons, and dpad instead of having to run a ground wire from each seperate button on the pcb?  If so how many total wires are required now for a common ground wireless pad

I see you just mentioned the triggers have a seperate ground, does the dpad as well?  If you choose to use the bumper buttons instead of the triggers, do they also have a seperate ground as well?

I have been having SEVERE quality issues with the common ground wireless controllers.  5 have failed on me in the last week, so I have had to buy new ones to replace them...

Do you have the sames issues with the common ground wired 360 controllers?

Also another question for you.  On a wired controller hack, would it be possible power one led from the pcb without need a separate battery?  For example if you were using one of the hollow joystick shaft's that luigi provides, could you somehow wire it to an 360 pcb, and have it lite when the controller was plugged into the 360?

No, the common ground wired seem to be fine, its just the wireless that have an issue...

Also, yes, you can pull 5V from the PCB (wired) to power one or more LED's.

Thanks a lot for the trigger-hacked madcatz pads, HarumaN
I got them like a week or two ago, and just got to soldering the rest of the wires on a pad yesterday, and today I modified my SF Anniversary stick.

I'm really going to use these pads for something else, but I did this for now to play SFIV  8)
I added two microswitches in the memory card hole.. made one of them the Guide button, the other one does nothing, lol.
BTW, does anyone know what brand joystick+buttons I have in this stick? I'm not sure I like the joystick; the throw's pretty large.. and the buttons are too tall.
Pretty messy, but it's my first, and it works:

Woohoo!  Just got mine today, and it's almost perfect.

The right trigger wires weren't glued down, and one of the solder points snapped in shipping.  Not a huge deal; I'm pretty noobish with a soldering iron, and I fixed it in a couple seconds.  Actually, now that I look at it, I don't think HarumaN glues down the trigger connections because of where they are on the board.  I might wrap mine in some hot glue to add a little more structure, since I imagine the box'll get a little beat up over time.  I might try to pull a 3.3v line out later on for an LED, too.

ANYHOW.

I highly recommend this service.  HarumaN was great throughout the whole thing, answering a slew of at least semi-annoying questions through PMs.  I might have been able to get it wired up on my own, but there's no way in hell I could have got it as clean and solid.

* escher sits and waits not-so-patiently for his akihabarashop order to come through.

Once again, to reiterate through my little ramble, this was totally worthwhile.  I would have killed at least two pads trying to do this on my own.

Hmm, did I not glue the trigger wires?  I must have overlooked that, I normally do.  My bad...   :dizzy:

No problem.  I figured it was because they're in a rough place to lay flat on the board.  I'll just add some around the connections (leaving them standing vertical) before I throw it in the actual box.

It was fun testing the thing out with just a small U of wire.  :)

I've thanked HarumaN in other threads as I couldnt post here, but I just wanted to say that the service he provides is second to none.. He keeps in good contact with you, updating you all the way to the delivery date, the work is well done and I had zero issues with my PCB I got from him.

All in all I'd highly recommend him to people who want to build a stick with the least hassle, for a good price..

quick question. I just picked up a Sega Saturn Dual Stick Controller and was wondering if you have a hack for those controllers? All the adapters seem to be out of stock.

thanks!

Sadly they (and every other company I have ever run into) are out of stock, and will infinitely be so from what I am told.

Was wondering if you could offer a bit of wisdom as to how I should proceed.  Some friends and myself are putting a Wii in a showcase cabinet with the intention of running Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom on it.  Basically, I need to know what my best bet would be controller wise and if you hack gamecube controllers (assuming that's the way to go?).  I wouldn't mind converters/alternate methods but I'm not entirely sure there's been much down with a Wii.  Problem that also comes into play is the distance between the unit and the buttons.  Any suggestions or possible services you could offer would be fantastic.  I'm interested in buying from you in the end!

What are the brand, do you know?

Assuming they are hackable, $35 each (shipping included).

Officials?  Nope.  I do however hack the Nubytech Street Fighter controllers which will work on PSX / PS2

ok so I'm following up on your comment on my thread about using a switch to switch between the Ipac and hacked 360 controllers.  So how exactly would that work?  I think the best thing to go with are 2 hacked wired controllers.  I'm not thinking of buying it now exactly, but in the fall.  I'm just trying to see if it's within my mean $$ wise.

So it'd 90 for you to hack and ship two controllers + cost of controllers + switch?

If anyone is on the fence and unsure, HarumaN's work is top notch. Everything was shipped professionally and his communication was fantastic.

Almost completed my hookup to the cab (hopefully tonight for the weekend!).

Hello.  I have been researching now for a while but have not come up with anything myself but, it seems like you are the man for this kind of thing.  I guess it is hard to explain so I drew a picture to describe to you.  I am building a cabinet and i am wanting to put a dreamcast and a xbox 360 in it.  I am trying to make one control panel with both consoles hooked up to it.  Here is my picture

of course I would want all buttons and directions done , just did a few so it didnt get jumbled

Is this possible to do.  If so how much would you charge me to hack 2 360 controllers and 2 dreamcast controllers to one terminal strip.  I would ship the dreamcast controllers to you and I would want 2 official wired xbox 360 controllers.

Thanks in advance
Alex

I see no ones posted in this thread in a few months. Are you still doing your controller hacks, HarumaN? If so, I may have need for one of your 360 pads in the next couple of weeks or so.
