You want the analog joystick or the D-pad? I can do both. Most DC games just use the D-pad.

Oh grand master of controller hacks, tell me, is there a wireless xbox controller - not 360 - which you hack and have on hand or can get? I didn't read through all 5 pages of thread to find out if this question has been asked already. I want to play around with a cheap xbox and this "newfangled" coinop thing that I'm reading about. Many thanks oh wise and great solderer.

I have just read through the post, and you look like exactly what I need. However I need to understand why you say you dont hack analogue?
Is it because they are separatable from the main PCB and can be placed where I want already?
I need an xbox style USB controller hacking. Something like:
But I want access to both of the analogue pots to attach to a steering wheel and a gearstick and I also want both the analogue triggers intact to move elsewhere.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but yeah I want a hacked controller for the digital bits but I also want to move the analogue bits about 16 inches apart. Does this sound feasible or does the analogue bits become redundant on your hacked controllers?
