Great work lokesen. Love the cabinet, especially the control panel.

A question... the volume buttons you have, do they control the main windows volume or are they specific to GameEX? How do they work?

::)

They control the volume in windows. I have installed a lille plugin called "Volume Tray" to make it work. Work well too ;)

It is a custom made Maximus Arcade skin. Soon you can download it from the maximus arcade homepage.

thats pretty slick. one suggestion however would be taking a good pic of your machine, cleaning it up in photoshop, and then using that in the front end instead of the generic cab being used. (disclaimer: having never used your frontend or made a layout for any frontend i have no idea if my idea would be incredibly easy or incredibly difficult. in the event that it is incredibly difficult feel free to roll your eyes, scoff, and go back to playing your amazing cab.)

Already done that, just forgot to update it on the video section, try again and see the new front-end :D

I am in the process of building a cab from these plans, has anyone else on here used them and if so do you have any pics? I've looked at the examples in the link on Lokesen's website but would be interested to see other examples.

This cab is perfect dimensions for me as my place is pretty small. Its a bonus that I absolutely love the shape too...

I have made a weecade clone. The plans are very good in both projects (mame project and weecade)
You can watch my project at the link below.

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=87518.0

My next cab will be like the mame project.I like koenings projects cause they use tft monitors and not arcade monitor.

One question about plans:
On the plans is a part which is called buttom, is that bottom?
If yes, dimension of that part is 600x565, while side of the cabinet
is 500mm. How bottom part is longer for 65 mm than side of the
cabinet?
Maybe a little info on how to mount bottom?

Thanks

It seems you have found an error in the drawings. The Project MAME plans are far from perfect, the Weecade plans are much better.

It sould be closer to 465 than 565. The right messure is somewhere around 476mm to make room for the two 12 or 16mm MDF on both sides (kickplate and backpanel).

Sorry for the inconvienience.

Best regards.

Ok, thanks.

Three  more questions  :)

Do you have on the bottom any supports, or everything standing on the side panels?
How high is bottom part from floor?
Is kickplate and backpanel standing on the floor or on the bottom?

1. I don't have any bottom supports, just wheels on the bottom. But I would recommend any enhancement you can make to make it more rugged and increase the stability.

2. That depends on how much you want to hide the wheels or if you have any wheels ;)

3. They are standing a little bit over the floor, because of the wheels. I looks nicer if you cant see the buttom panel.

Good luck

Hi, me again  :)

Which are measures of wooden control panel, can't find in the plans. I guess 60 X ?
In "download editable Artwork as ZIP" are also pdf files, how these files can be edit? Do you maybe have psd or ai files?

Thanks
