Woah! Stereoscopic 3D games in Mame!!! :D
Avrus:
I can't see in three dimensions, so games like this are lost on me. :hissy:

enable 3d frames. Reset the game. Then, I inserted credits, but strange.. didnt
see any frame shifts?! Well, it turns out that somehow if you press the
Player 1 start button, it will then toggle on/off the frames to shift. Very odd. Took me
like 15 min to figure it out :(

Yes, the original game did this. If the 3D effect annoyed you, or, say some punk had torn the glasses off, you could turn off the effect.
Avrus, I'm curious about your condition. Only one eye?
gonzo90017:
I'm glad you got them fixed. I have some that are slightly cracked on one eye. I was hoping you had solved that problem.
SavannahLion:
Hummm.... I think I have a pair of those glasses I never used when I bought my GF3 card. The drivers sucked ass so I switched to vanilla nVidia drivers and never cared to try the glasses.
Maybe I should try them out with MAME?
Xiaou2:
avrus,
Sorry to hear that man. Maybe in the future they will create a way for you and
others with special implants.
Rayb,
Interesting. Never thought of that.
Gonzo,
You mean the front of the plastic is cracked right? Not the LCD itself?
Usually the plastic frames crack. You could separate the front
piece form the back... then carefully take a hack saw and start to cut holes
in the front where the lcds would show thru. The back piece has enough strength,
so should be fine structurally once its put back together.
Sometimes the little ear pieces also crack. I recall and old pair I had,
I used an adjustable strap to hold them to my head. Worked pretty well.
You might also do that.. by strapping the backs to your head only. though,
you may want to make some sort of cover for looks. And or you could
probably use a heat gun and plexi to shape a new front.
Savannah,
Certain glasses have ability to use any drivers. You may want to try the drivers
that Edimentional glasses use. Though, even so, try your old drivers first and see
if mame and Sega Master system emu (meka) will work with them beforehand.

Do they look like this:
If so, then they should work with the new drivers perfectly.
