Thanks nighthawk2099. Also just to tell you guys this is a smaller version of the picture. I shortened this one. The original pic is 36" x 8". Thanx.

The image is not quite centered (left and right)..... close, but still not quite.

The graphics are a little too close to the top edge as well. Your marquee holder will cover up a portion of the top and the image will look too high.

I'd also make the C.G.U. text larger as well but thats just personal preference. I'd have it almost under their chins (centered top and bottom) and turn up the opacity on the blue shadow so you can still make out the characters.  Your eye will still be able to make out the image and yet the text will be more pronounced. Currently the text is really secondary to the image.

You've also got that funny height thing going on...... The images start just below the waist, below the knees, above the knees and yet they're all roughly the same height..... Makes for some odd perspective. (although the blue does hide some of that effect.)

Is the final version of the CGU text going to be that pixelated? Currently it looks very stepped.....

I really don't care for that style of marquee, but as an example of that style.... it's a good one.

If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

It's not a marquee.  It's an overlay.  At least, that's what the title states...

Yeah it's an overlay, not a marquee. Yeah if it was a marquee I woud have centered the C.G.U. and all, thisis just going on an arcadestick I built. Thanks for all of your insight guys. Thanx.

the text is in the middle and buttons go on the sides remember ;)?
the overlay looks pretty good but again I dont like that background...its really low resolution unless you find the same image but a higer res.
trust me..when you print out you be like "ahhh..I should have looked for a higher res background".

It's hard to get a sense of scale. So 2/3rds of the control panel is going to be empty? That text takes up alot of space. Why waste all that real estate??

Fighter-kiddies are wierd.  ::)

well man's got a point here though..your text is taking a lot of space and covering the actual art..I say shrink it down a little bit !  :)
