HELP HELP HELP Picking a new monitor

Hello all....I am new to this site and have enjoyed reading some of the post.  This may have been posted before but I could use some advise on purchasing a new monitor.  I am looking for a 22" monitor (corner desk has limited opening) that would be good for gaming foremost as well as everyday personal use.  I have looked at various sites and read many reviews and seem to get conflicting information on what would be best.  If anyone has any suggestions on what specs to look for or even a particular make and model I would greatly appreciate it.
