I would personally love to see someone put up motion specs for everything instead.  Total angle of motion.  Amount of weight and spring (not that I know how to measure that)..  Size between handles.  Ect..

why?  Its been shown that to reproduce a starwars controller costs about 250 bucks + to do it right. 

The question is.  If you used off the shelf pieces from home depot or whereever.  Could someone build one for 40 bucks that would act nearly identical?  not just look the part, but have the same feel?  (how often do you look at the controllers when your in the middle of the game?).

Even some of the non-starwars yokes don't play the same. 

I know that the pvc starwars yokes came closish in angle rotation.  But I bet we could do better.

I'm guessing with a project box, a few lazy susans of different sizes.  ect... someone could make something that was free moving and works great.  Now how can we make one that feels right!
