need some ideas on how to mount these speakers

I did the same thing that Dizzle did except I used  wire ties to snug them down and then you can remove them easily if needed.

iam sorry, when i say "mount" i diddnt mean how to hold them in place

i meant more of the wood working aspect geared towards these speaker shapes.

Mount them behind a speaker grill and be done with it. You may want to change out your speakers later. If you insist on mounting them so they are visible and you want to do a good job - ask yourself if it's worth all the extra time and effort.

Personally, I don't think they are that great looking that they deserve some sort of special mounting method.

As an option, if you want to do something snazzy - put some LED's or neon behind the speaker grill to light it up.

yeah i agree, the only thing is the arcade speaker grills are 30 bucks with shipping

but i guess i'll just go that route

Arcade speaker grills? Just get some other grills. I got some grills from Divemaster for around $5 each, I've also used fan covers from Newegg. Here is a pic of a 2 player bartop I built:
