| Best thing to use for a Marquee light in the UK? |

They are very bright, but I guess you can double up to even the light, still cheap and very bright without the heat. There are other sizes. |

You can pick up cold cathode tubes for pc modders quite cheap on ebay ( I bought a kit with 2 tubes in not so long ago which came with a switch to turn them on/off ) - they seemed adequate to light a marquee and if you want you could get different colours for different effects... |

I went the cold cathode route. Buy them from ebuyer though, found that most of the ones you see on ebay are the same make. Payed £3 for 4 12" cold cathode tubes and inverters from there. |

I use the cold cathodes to back light my juke, they are very bright and easy to set up running off the PC Power supply. |
