--- Quote from: AtomSmasher on January 14, 2008, 01:59:49 am ---I just looked up Sarahs age on imdb and she is 34, which means she's a little young for the part, but not by much. I didn't recognize her in the show, but she's been in quite a few movies before this. The biggest movie she was in was as the wife/queen in 300.

I just watched the first episode and the police report says that Sarah is 33. The actor playing John Conner is 20 years old. Guess the kid is a tad old for his character.

Really, she's only supposed to be 33? I figured the kid was supposed to be at least 16, and if she's 33 then she would of had him at 17, which means she would of been 16 or 17 in the first terminator movie, and that doesn't make sense because she was at least in her early twenties in that movie. Thats why I figured she was just a little young for the part. Whatever, if I can suspend disbelief about killer robots from the future, then minor age discrepancies shouldn't be a problem :)

I looked it up again (somewhere around 12 minutes into my recording)and the funny thing is that the police report does not show a birthdate. Only an age.
The computer that the FBI guy looks up her info:

Oh well, they've done a good job with the rest of the show so lets just see where they go with it.

Well I figured that the head would re-active and send out a beacon that attracted the new termintor. That would have, you know, been actually possible and would have made sense compared to what they did. Then he could have uploaded all the data and bam! Old terminator in new body!

Saw the second part. I have to say it's starting to pick up a little.
Indeed it seems illogical here and there. As far as you can talk about "logical" when you get into the whole timetravel mess. Obviously when a terminator gets ambushed it will record this (ie notify the future bots) and they send a terminator back from the future so that it gets there 15 minutes earlier and ambushes the ambush :P
Why does the resistance manage to send a whole militia back through time, while the evil bots send only a lonely terminator?
Also in "real time" situations it's sometimes illogical though. I was wondering what the use was of the two robots fighting (the fembot and the terminator). These fight scenes are becoming pretty boring. They just slap each other silly and throw each other through walls with no effect at all. To make matters worse, the terminator decides to run away, they all chase the terminator, Sarah throws a bike at his feet and the terminator is taken out. Seriously ::)

I liked it. Then again, I'm not looking for an interactive immersive space time bending white whole spewing time bit of continuity perfection. I just want to be entertained for 45 minutes.
And I spent much of the second episode watching the female terminator's chest heave.
