Someone actually posted this on slickdeals (tongue firmly in cheek of course when they did it).

Read the comments too, apparently it is a real commercial from 'nawlins and there are others too.

That "I say I say I say" guy has to be tommy.

Daniel270:
Is that 10 piece dinner anything like this?

MaximRecoil:
Local furniture store commercials tend to be the most annoying ones on the air. They are always having HUGE!!! BLOWOUT!!! EVERYTHING MUST GO!!! 80% OFF EVERYTHING IN THE STORE!!! sales.

Used car salesmen get a bad rap, but I think local furniture store salesmen are worse, especially the ones that fancy themselves as "celebrities" because they are on dime-budget local commercials all the time.

Around here we have the "Better Buy Barn" guy who used to have "going out of business sales" like every other month. Then some time in the early '90s he renamed the place "Tuffy Bear's" and he became "Tuffy Bear", still the "star" of his own ridiculous commercials.

I still remember that damnable jingle from the '80s:

Better Buy Barn
Better Buy Barn
You get better buyyyyyyyys
At the Better Buy Barn

Those commercials are the only reason anyone in Maine has ever heard of "The Pushaw Road in Glenburn."

I could totally see that making it into a Stephen King book, if it hasn't already. ;D
