dos window not closing on game exit
« on: November 21, 2012, 04:51:15 pm »
OK so when I exit a mame game, the dos window stays open and displays the average speed. This causes MaLa to keep the loading screen up and not allow me to select any new games until I  close the dos window with the mouse.

I have tried several different versions of mame with the same result.

If somebody could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

I`m seriously new to this and not had it happen unless its when i got fed up of seeing dos windows but i chose to hide "dos windows state", gonna number these as i do it :)  by:

1. right click while mala`s running
2. select "options/configuration"
3. Which should put you on the "mame config" --> "Basics tab " and the second section up from the bottom "dos window state" check the "hidden" option

let me know if it works, just to make me feel chuffed i helped someone if nothing else

Are you using a batch file to launch the games?
